Privacy policy

This policy covers A Grade Tyre & Auto, Unit 2/23 Lawrence Drive, Nerang QLD 4211, and this website. It is written to describe what this site actually does, which is not very much.

What we collect

Only what you type into the booking form: your name, phone number, email address, vehicle details, the service you need, a preferred date and any message you add. The form will not send unless you fill it in and submit it.

What we do with it

We use it to reply to your enquiry and arrange your booking. That is the only reason it is collected. We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to anyone for marketing.

Who processes it

Form submissions are delivered through BluePeek Forms, the lead-handling platform run by the agency that built this site, which stores the submission and emails it to the workshop. The website is hosted by our hosting provider, whose servers keep standard access logs including IP addresses.

Analytics and cookies

This website sets no cookies of its own, runs no advertising pixels, and currently loads no analytics script at all. If website analytics are added later, this section will be updated to say so before they are switched on.

Spam checks

To stop automated spam, the booking form includes a hidden field and records how long the form took to complete, and the server briefly keeps a count of recent submissions per IP address. None of that is used to identify you or kept beyond that purpose.

How long we keep it

Booking enquiries are kept as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for ordinary business records. Ask us to delete yours and we will.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, and ask for it to be deleted. Ring the workshop on (07) 5591 2339 and we will sort it out.

Other sites

This site links to Google Maps and to our Google and Facebook profiles. Once you follow one of those links you are on their site, under their privacy policy, not ours. The map on our contact page does not load until you click to load it, so nothing is sent to Google before then.
